a few simple words

My Journal

Most weeks, I have a few custom hand-scripted word orders.   This week I had several and I wanted to share some of them with you.

Little note: these words are cut from salvaged plastic that is used in plastic packaging. So a material that has no value, now has a value.  Love that!  All the words are done in my hand writing. These are hung on walls, rested on shelves, placed in table settings, or can be Christmas tree toppers...

Endless summer. I could use one right now. I love the fall...a crisp breeze, big sweaters, warm soup...but summer has a lazy feel to it that fall doesn't have.  And I am missing that.

Our new puppy Gus thinks everyday is summer. All his moments are lazy and playful.  He is good company for me.  Very light hearted. Thinking this rescued dog rescued me. But that is another post. Another moment.

And these sweet words will go on the wall of a young girl's room.  My wish for her is that she knows how amazing she is.  Just because she is.

I am wishing her a life of sunshiny mornings and sweet dreams.

Below I am really loving the center and concentrate as I am still working on being in the moment. Not on automatic.   I put my phone in my studio fridge this past week.  24 hours later I found it by the hot cocoa mix.

And a few words one sweet woman sent to her friends to remind them to refresh...and find peace and light in each moment.  Choose was just for her.  I love that. I get to meet her this week.  In my creative space.

a few simple words

Here are few words I did for a client a month or so ago.  Her father is ill.  She needed to see these words daily.  I hope they are filling her with the strength she needs. She is in my daily prayers.

a few simple words

A few words I had to script just for me.  For those I love.  For in my studio. For Gus the rescue puppy.

And lastly my very favorite word right now. Gentle.

A reminder to be gentle with myself and with everyone around me.

a few simple words

I want to go through each day in a gentle way.

ps.  Is there a word you are loving right now? A word you need to see?
