Fresh Air & Fullness: A fall Day at my Studio, Monday October 14th, 2024

Join me Monday, October 14th for a full day workshop at my studio, 949a Mirror Lake Road, Yardley, PA, 10a to 5P.

We will engage in a full day of creativity & mixed media exploration as the leaves fall around us in a blanket of amber colors. I will share with you my treasure hunting goodies from a summer of going to the flea market. We will allow where we are right now to unfold on our art journal pages, a canvas or on a sacred piece of fabric.

We will be using photo transfer techniques, thread, paint, paper, gel mediums mixed in bits and pieces of the past to tell our story of where our heart is right now. We will working with cyanotypes, vintage negatives and nature from the farm around us.

There will be plenty of work areas set up outside so we can safely explore & experiment on altered journal pages. You can also bring a piece you have in process if you would like. A healthy & delicious studio lunch is included, plus tea, coffee and beverages. Ps. Excited to share the magic of my studio with you in this glorious season!

What unit of measure do you use?

All product measurements are listed in inches.

What is the "small word add-on?"

The small word add-on allows you to add an additional small (6-8") cardboard or plastic word to your order. The small word will be the same as your large word.

How do I hang the salvaged words?

I use the little foam squares from AC Moore or similar craft stores. They fit perfectly behind the words and also add a great dimension. They do not harm paint. In my studio I have some that have been up for years.

I also love to lean the words...over a doorway, a window, or on top of a picture. The dinner table is a favorite place of mine. I use clear squares if I hang the words on a mirror.

Can salvaged words be outside?

The salvaged plexi words can, yes! And they float in water. The last little words are salvaged cardboard and should be kept indoors.

When will I receive my order?

Prints will ship out in 1 to 2 business days. Hand-scripted words ship within a week. Custom orders (e.g., Your Word and Your Name) will be processed in 1 - 3 weeks.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes...a whole bunch. Please expect delivery to take longer than noted above as packages will be making their way across mountains, sand, or sea.

What about refunds and exchanges?

If an order arrived damaged due to shipping, please contact me.
