"How to be Lost" ....creative guidance in a 12x18 poster
My best creative days are when I get completely lost in the process. Time slips away and I am ageless and inspired.
This 12x18 poster is my creative process: pure play with zero judgement. Please hang this in your studio or creative space.
Feel free to tuck it some place just for you to see and remember, like maybe behind a door or cabinet.
This will ship to you in a eco paper tube. And I will of course add in a smattering of paper hearts cut from my life and mail. xo.
How to be Lost...
First, you must completely trust you will be found.
Put your clothes on inside out.
Then set a banquet table full of paper, color, fabrics and paint.
Allow yourself to play like your five-year-old self. Make a mess. Get paint under your nails and on your cheek.
Let your hands and heart lead you home. Stop questioning how and why.
Deeply feel the joy from this kind of freedom.
Do not clean up.. Just wash your paintbrushes, hands and fingers.
Leave the table set. Rest deeply.
Now return. Lose yourself again in this process all the while knowing you will be deeply found.
Repeat.
And when you go out into the world with clothes right side out, all the paint from play will be next to your skin, so you always remember you are found.
